Volunteering to care for the land aligns beautifully with the goals of many youth programs and organizations. Whether your group is a school club, scout troop, faith youth group, or community organization, we’ll work with you to create a meaningful outdoor service or conservation experience where young people can learn and give back.
Programs are tailored to your group’s size, age range, and interests. Depending on the season and what our conservation areas need, activities might include:
- Trail maintenance and clearing
- Invasive plant removal and native plantings
- Litter cleanups and general trailhead care
- Hands-on lessons about local ecology, wildlife, and why land conservation matters
These experiences can support service hour requirements and badge or rank advancement, and they give young people a chance to see the lasting impact of their work on a place in their own community. Our team provides tools, guidance, and on-site direction, so group leaders can focus on their participants.
