Looking for a meaningful way to bring your team together? Hollow Oak Land Trust partners with local businesses and organizations to create hands-on volunteer experiences that give back to the community and the land we all share.
A day on the trail is a great alternative to a conference room. Corporate volunteer events build teamwork, boost morale, and give employees a chance to see the lasting impact of their efforts on protected greenspace right in their own community. We’ll work with you to design an experience that fits your group’s size, goals, and schedule.
Examples of corporate volunteer projects may include:
- Trail maintenance and stewardship: Pruning vegetation, clearing debris, and supporting erosion control to keep our trails safe and sustainable.
- Litter cleanups and trailhead care: Helping keep our conservation areas clean and welcoming for visitors.
- Seasonal workdays: Projects matched to the time of year and the needs of our conservation areas.
- Team-building outings: A guided volunteer experience that pairs meaningful work with time outdoors together.
Why partner with Hollow Oak? Our team provides tools, guidance, and on-site direction, so your group can simply show up and get to work. Many employers also use volunteer days to support community engagement goals and employee volunteer programs. We’re happy to talk through what your company is looking for.
Beyond volunteer days, there may be other ways for your business to support land conservation, such as sponsorships or employee giving. Just ask.
To get started: Contact Autumn at AAnderson@hollowoak.org with your company name, approximate group size, and a few possible dates. We recommend reaching out a few weeks ahead so we can match you with the right project and location.
