Invasive Species Workday
August 5 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Help us to steward the natural areas of Montour Woods by joining us for invasive species removal. We’ll focus on removing Japanese stiltgrass before it sets seed, along with other common invasive plants that threaten native wildflowers, tree seedlings, and wildlife habitat.
Whether you’re an experienced volunteer or joining us for the first time, everyone is welcome. No experience is necessary—we’ll provide guidance on identifying invasive species, explain their impacts on our woodlands, and work together to give native plants the opportunity to thrive.
Come enjoy an evening outdoors, connect with others, and help keep Montour Woods healthy for generations to come.
If you would like to join the workday, let us know that you are coming here!
