Join Hollow Oak and Tim Tomon, Entomologist with the USDA Forest Service, to explore the insects in our woodland environment. For this unique program we will be collecting a diversity of insects from preset traps and learning about the species we find and what they can tell us about the forest ecosystem. This one-hour all-ages program is intended for everyone and meets at the parking area at 1875 Hassam Road Montour Woods Conservation Area. We will be mostly stationary, with short walks between the various traps, please bring water and wear closed toe shoes.
